Dreams FC stands to earn €1 million from FC Barcelona if Ghanaian youngster Abdul Aziz Issah secures a permanent stay at the Johan Cruyff Arena.
The 18-year-old midfielder has joined the Catalan giants on a season-long loan, with an option for a permanent move.
For now, Issah will be playing with Barcelona’s reserve team.
Although financial details of the transfer were initially undisclosed, renowned Ghanaian journalist Saddick Adams confirmed that FC Barcelona would pay €1 million if Issah earns a full transfer after his loan spell.
"Barcelona offered €400,000, but the transfer ended up costing them €1 million," Adams revealed during an interview on Angel TV.
Shortly after arriving in Spain, Issah received a call-up from Barcelona's senior team manager, Hansi Flick, for a training session alongside fellow Ghanaian player David Oduro.
This provided both young talents an opportunity to gain valuable first-team experience.
While Issah is yet to make his debut for Barca Athletic, the club’s technical team is closely monitoring his progress.
If he continues to impress, he could secure a permanent contract with FC Barcelona by the end of his loan.
