FROM Saturday, December 22 to Saturday, December 29, DStv customers will experience a musical storm from Accra with three separate nights of amazing musical experiences from Ghanaian giants intertwined with fashion, art, food and pop culture.

Showing on the Ghana Festival Channel on DStv channel 196, the storm kicks off from the streets of Osu, Accra on December 22 with the 2011 MTV Best African Performer award winner, Samini turning up the popular Oxford Street with his annual Saminifest concert.

The street concert is a thank you from Samini to his fans for all the support he has received all year. The 6pm concert will feature nearly 60 local and international acts.

Then on Christmas Day, the storm upgrades into a “category two” one with 2012 BET: Best International Act winner, Sarkodie’s Rapperholic concert.

The rap maestro has held this concert five years in a row and this year he promises another stellar event laden with surprise acts from across the continent. Make a date on DStv Channel 196 from 8pm for what promises to be an event to remember.

The heat will be turned up on the Ghana Festival Channel on December 28, when Stonebwoy’s BHIMconcert featuring international Reggae act, Morgan Heritage Family turn up the Fantasy Dome in Accra.

The BET 2015 Best International Act: Africa; winner promises an epic show from 8pm when the show goes live on the Fiesta Channel 329 on DStv and GOtv 159.

Then the Afrochella Festival, which is an arts, fashion, food and music event also scheduled for December 28 will be live on the Events Channel 196 from 5pm.

In its second year, Afrochella has become the biggest outdoor youth gathering attracting over fifteen thousand spectators reason why it is being moved to the El Wak Stadium in Accra.
