Abdulai is expected to begin training with his new teammates this week and could make his debut in the league fixture against Arbroath on Saturday, September 13.

During his time with Medeama SC, the tall and versatile defender made 75 appearances in the Ghana Premier League, in addition to seven outings in the CAF Champions League. His performances also earned him a call-up to the Black Stars during the 2025 Africa Cup of Nations qualifiers.

In a farewell message, Medeama SC wrote:
“The move to Dunfermline Athletic represents an important step in his career, and the club is proud to see him take his talents to Europe. Thank you, Nurudeen, and best of luck in the land of the Pars.”
