Dutch-born Ghanaian striker Brian Brobbey scored on his senior debut for Ajax after coming off the bench in their win against Fortuna Sittard in the Dutch Eredivisie game.

He was a 65th minute substitute for Lasina Troare and scored on his debut as Ajax recorded a 5-2 victory.

Ajax came from a goal down to record a 2-1 lead before the youngster added a fortuitous third goal on his debut.

George Cox opened the floodgates of the game for the away side in the 7th minute before a brace from Davy Klaassen gave Ajax a 2-1 lead.

Brazilian David Neres shot at goal with the ball hitting the foot of the post before it was turned into the net by the 18 year old Brian Brobbey to make it 3-1.

There was two late penalties for Ajax which was converted by Dusan Tadic and Qunicy Promes to put further gloss on the results but George Cox scored a late goal in injury time to make it 5-2.

The Amsterdam born striker has been in fine form for the Ajax reserve team this season scoring 5 goals in 9 appearances while providing an assist.

He has played for the Holland U-19 side but is still eligible to play for Ghana.
