Former Ghana international Matthew Amoah has rejoined his old club NAC Breda, this time as part of the technical staff, working alongside his former teammate Anouar Diba.

Coaching Role

Amoah and Diba will be focusing on developing and training the team’s forwards and attacking unit. Both have already been involved with the NAC Youth Academy, and will now extend their expertise to the first team.

Technical Director Peter Maas praised the appointments:

“With the addition of Matthew and Anouar, we’re adding specific expertise to the current coaching staff. Both have been doing excellent and focused work with our youth players… and they’ll now do the same with the first team.”

NAC Breda’s Situation

The Dutch side currently sit bottom of the Eredivisie with 13 points from 17 matches in the 2025/26 season. The new coaching duo will work closely with Andre Ayew, who recently joined the club until the end of the season, as Breda battles for survival.
