In an effort to boost sanitation and ensure the availability of water in Ghanaian schools and communities, the Church of Christ in partnership with Living Water Project - America, has constructed a mechanized borehole for the Krobo Senior High School and Agormanya Methodist JHS in the Lower Manya Krobo Municipality in the Eastern Region.

The church has also constructed similar project for residents at Agatorm, Guata.

The Lower Manya Krobo Municipal Chief Executive (MCE), Simon Kweku Tetteh, during the commissioning of the water projects applauded the efforts of the church for its partnership Living Water Project - America, to provide potable water to several communities and schools in the Municipality.

He used the opportunity to educate the gathering on the upcoming National Referendum, aimed at amending the constitution to allow for the direct election of Metropolitan, Municipal and District Chief Executives (MMDCEs).

The Leadership of the Church of Christ and their American donors in their speeches noted that they are committed to making potable water accessible to the good people in the Krobo land and beyond.
