Ghanaian winger Edmund Baidoo delivered a standout performance on Wednesday afternoon, helping Red Bull Salzburg U19 secure a thrilling 3-2 victory over Sparta Praha U19 in a UEFA Youth League match at the Lokomotiva Praha pitch.

Baidoo not only dazzled on the field but also provided a vital assist that contributed to Salzburg's success. The team took an early lead, with Baidoo playing a pivotal role in the opening goal.

However, Sparta's Vojtech Hranos inspired a comeback, leveling the score in the 52nd minute.

Salzburg quickly regained the advantage in the 55th minute when Marc Striednig capitalized on a loose ball, finding the back of the net from close range.

Just minutes later, Zeteny Jano, who replaced Baidoo in the 60th minute, extended the lead to 3-1 in the 64th minute.

Sparta continued to press and pulled one back in the 67th minute, with Roman Mokrovics scoring a stunning goal to make it 3-2.

Despite the mounting pressure from Sparta, Salzburg held firm, thanks in part to goalkeeper Salko Hamzic, who made several crucial saves to secure the win.
