Egyptian football fans have taken to twitter to jubilate over the injury woes of Black Stars captain Asamoah Gyan after the striker told UAE media outlet 24 that " it will be very hard to participate in Ghana's encounter against the Pharoahs."

After the comments, Ghanaian journalist Gary Al Smith quoted the striker's comments on his twitter page.

The evidently elated Egyptian football fans quoted the tweet, rejoicing over the captain's possible absence from the super clash.

Some commented "ALLAHU AKBAR" in Arabic which is translated "God is great"
