Egyptian giants Zamalek are set to reopen negotiations with Ghanaian forward John Antwi in the summer transfer window.

Zamalek were closing to securing the services of the red-hot striker in January but Misr Lel Mikassa were not ready to let their most priced asset leave.

According to reports, the White Knights could not meet the asking price of the Clearing side.

However, John Antwi's contract with Mikassa is also set to come to an end in the summer making it easy for Zamalek to snatch him on a low.

Antwi has been in form this season, scoring 8 goals this season. He is currently the foreigner with the most goals in the Egyptian League.

The 26-year old previously played for Ismailly, Al Shabab and Al Ahly before joining Lel Mikassa.
