Former Ghana midfielder Emmanuel Agyemang-Badu has shared his insights regarding Mohammed Kudus’ recent red card during West Ham’s match against Tottenham Hotspur.

In an interview with 3Sports, Badu expressed his belief that Kudus’ emotions played a significant role in the incident.

“Mistakes are a natural part of football, and he just needs encouragement and support. I truly believe he will become one of the greatest players to emerge from Africa,” Badu stated, highlighting his confidence in Kudus’ potential.

Badu acknowledged the strong start Kudus had to the season but noted that the emotional intensity of the match ultimately led to his sending off.

“This year, he started off strong, but unfortunately, emotions got the better of him, resulting in a red card,” he remarked.

Despite the setback, Badu is optimistic about Kudus’ future, believing that the young player will learn from this experience.

“Being young, he will learn from this experience and improve. Gradually, we will see him progress and potentially join some of the greatest clubs in the world,” he added.

Following the incident, Mohammed Kudus has served a one-match suspension while the English FA investigates what has been described as a misconduct charge.

As he navigates this challenging moment, Kudus’ development as a player remains a focal point for fans and analysts alike.
