Emmanuel Boateng featured for Levante as they suffered a  5-0 away defeat to Sevilla on Saturday in La Liga.

The Ghanaian international started the match before he was replaced in the 76th minute by Roger.

Compatriot Raphael Dwamena was an unused substitute.

Wissam Ben Yedder opened the scoring and continued his fine form, before Andre Silva also got in on the act to make it 2-0 in the hour mark.

Levante did attempt to get themselves back in the game but they failed to hit the target from any of their seven attempts at the Ramon Sanchez Pizjuan.

Any hope of that happening was ended when Franco Vazquez got on the scoresheet after 70 minutes.

And, the tie was sealed when arguably La Liga’s most in form player – Pablo Sarabia, scored from the penalty spot.

The win was rounded off in stoppage time when Dutch winger Quincy Promes got the fifth and ensured that Sevilla would move on to 36 points, level with Real Madrid in third place.
