Ghanaian forward Emmanuel Toku opened his scoring account for the 2023-24 season on Friday, contributing to Aalborg BK's 3-1 victory over Vendsyssel FF in the Danish First Division.

The match, held at the Nord Energi Arena, saw an eventful sequence of goals. Danish midfielder Carl Lange struck first, opening the scoring for Vendsyssel FF in the 9th minute.

Aalborg BK responded with an equalizer in the 39th minute, as Oliver Ross found the back of the net after an assist from Melker Widell.

In the second half, Aalborg BK extended their lead with a goal from Kenyan international Richard Odada.

Emmanuel Toku, who came on as a substitute in the 60th minute, sealed the victory for the visitors with a goal from the penalty spot in the 73rd minute.

Toku, currently on loan from OH Leuven in Belgium, has provided Aalborg BK with a promising option, and the club may consider making his deal permanent in the future.
