The Minister of Energy and Green Transition, John Abdulai Jinapor, has undertaken a working visit to all departments and offices within the Ministry on his first official day in office, using the occasion to engage with staff and commend them for their dedication.
During the tour, Mr Jinapor expressed appreciation to management and staff for what he described as their exceptional efforts throughout 2025, noting that the energy sector was confronted with significant challenges when the current administration took office.
He said the collective commitment and professionalism of staff were instrumental in delivering what he described as a remarkable turnaround in the sector, despite the difficult circumstances inherited.
“This progress is a testament to your professionalism and unwavering belief in our shared vision, under the leadership of His Excellency President John Dramani Mahama,” the Minister stated.
Mr Jinapor encouraged staff to remain focused and committed in 2026, urging them to continue giving their best as the Ministry works to consolidate and build on the gains made.
He reaffirmed his commitment to close collaboration with staff to further strengthen the energy sector and ensure the delivery of reliable, sustainable, and affordable power in line with the government’s green transition agenda.
