The Minister of Energy and Green Transition, Dr John Abdulai Jinapor, has met with officials from the World Bank to reinforce collaboration in Ghana’s energy sector.

The discussions underscored the World Bank’s long-standing role as a key development partner, contributing to major projects and reforms aimed at enhancing the sector’s overall performance.

Both sides explored ways to advance shared priorities, including expanding energy access, improving supply reliability, and promoting sustainability nationwide.

Dr Jinapor described the engagement as fruitful, emphasizing a mutual commitment to strengthening cooperation in addressing existing challenges and supporting Ghana’s broader development goals.

The renewed partnership is expected to drive further reforms and investments toward building a more resilient and efficient energy system.
