The Minister of Energy and Green Transition, Dr. John Jinapor, has held a strategic engagement with the Petroleum Hub Development Corporation (PHDC) to review its performance in 2025 and align priorities for 2026.

Dr. Jinapor said the engagement forms part of his Ministry’s broader strategic plan, aimed at strengthening execution, unlocking new opportunities, and positioning the Corporation to deliver greater value across the energy value chain.

“The Petroleum Hub Development Corporation remains central to the government’s investment drive in the energy sector, serving as a critical catalyst for infrastructure development, private sector participation, and long-term energy security,” the Yapei-Kusawgu lawmaker wrote on Facebook following the engagement.

He added, “As we look ahead, our focus is on deepening investor confidence and accelerating projects that will transform our energy landscape, create jobs, and support sustainable economic growth.”

The Petroleum Hub is a landmark megaproject located in the Jomoro district of the Western Nzema Area. Planned as a leading integrated petroleum complex, the hub is designed to create significant value across both upstream and downstream segments of the oil and gas industry, positioning it as a major continental energy initiative.
