Black Stars coach C.K Akunnor has handed London born Ghanaian winger Tariq Fosu his maiden call up despite the player barely playing for his championship side.

During C.K  Akunnor's European tour last month, he held talks with the British born Ghanaian about representing his native country so its no surprise he has been handed a call up.

Since joining Championship side Brentford in January, the winger has made only three appearance with a total game time of seven minutes.

The newly invited Black Stars player had his best time with Third tier side Oxford United in the League one before joining Brentford in January.

At Oxford United in the English League one, he played a total of 32 games across all competitions scoring 10 goals while providing 5 assists.

The 24 year old left winger has played once for the England U-18 team but has now been handed a full cap for Ghana in the 2021 Afcon qualifier double header against Sudan.
