English Premier League fixtures for 2025/26 season released
18th June 2025
The Premier League has issued a caution to fans that fixtures during the 2025/26 season may be rescheduled at short notice due to the unprecedented number of English clubs participating in European competitions.
A record nine Premier League teams have qualified for UEFA tournaments in the upcoming campaign, increasing the likelihood of fixture disruptions, particularly in the knockout stages of the continental competitions.
“While the Premier League celebrates this success, it will come with an impact on the scheduling of league matches,” the league said in a statement.“There is an increased likelihood of Premier League fixtures moving at relatively short notice… should our clubs progress to the knockout rounds.”
The Premier League has advised supporters to consider this when planning to attend games, especially from mid-season onwards.
