Ghanaguardian.com has sighted the last prayer said by Pius Adesanmi, one of the passengers who lost his life in Flight ET302.

The Ethiopian Airline which had taken off from Addis Ababa to its destination in Nairobi crashed, leaving all 157 on board dead.

The prayer which was derived from Psalm 139:9-10 read: “If I take the wings of the morning and dwell in the uttermost parts of the sea, even there your hand shall lead me, and your right hand shall hold me”.

For reasons best known to God, Pius’ prayer was not answered.

Pius was the Director at The Institute of African Studies (IAS) and Professor of English at Carleton University. He was a Former Assistant Professor of Comparative Literature at The Pennsylvania State University and studied French Studies at University of British Columbia, Vancouver, Canada.
