Evan Mensah’s HJK Helsinki survived a scare to seal 5-2 aggregate win after 2-2 draw vs HB in the UEFA Champions League Qualifiers.
Coming into the game with 3-0 win from the first leg, HJK had a strong foot in the game but had to work their socks off to grab this progressing spot.
Evans played the entire duration of the match and helped his side to fight back from 2-0 down to draw 2-2 at the Gundadalur.
S. Pingel and L. Andersen came close to leveling their aggregate score by leading 2-0, however, R. Risk grabbed a brace to help the visitors secure the needed result.
HJK will now meet Sūduva or Red Star Belgrade in next round of the UEFA Champions League Qualifiers.
