Portuguese giants FC Porto are reportedly seriously considering a January move for Lorient striker Majeed Waris, Ghanaguardian.com understands.
According to the French Press, negotiations between the Dragons and Lorient are already advanced, and a deal could be wrapped up as soon as next week.
French Ligue 1 duo Caen and Saint-Étienne are also interested in the signature of the 26 year old but FC Porto appear to be closer to securing the forward.
Waris has been in Lorient since 2015 and this season has scored just one goal in seven matches as he has not been the first choice striker of coach Mickaël Landreau.
