Failed Ghana Football Association presidential aspirant George Afriyie is more than closer to taking over the Kotoko CEO job.

After the club's two consecutive failures in the two Caf inter club competitions, massive changes are expected to be done by the top brass of the club among the changes include the removal of the current CEO and the dissolution of the club's management.

According to Light Fm, George Afriyie is almost 90% close to taking over the Chief Executive Officer role at Asante Kotoko.

He is believed to be meeting the club's life patron Otumfuo Osei Tutu II, Asantehene in collaboration with Chairman Dr. Kwame Kyei Baffour after his holidays at Dubai.

Concrete rejuvenation will be ignited under his auspices where he is going to appoint not more than 3 management members, bring in a well versed coach, register less than 30 players for every season, change the kit sponsor, install Astro turf at the training grounds and conduct sports traveling regime programs among other things to help develop and improve the growth of the club.
