Accra hearts of Oak head coach position have been vacant after the resignation of former interim coach Yaw Preko.

The Phobians will reportedly named their new coach before the beginning of the G6 preseason tournament.

Ghanaguardian.com can exclusively report Belgian tactician Jean Francois Loscuito is likely to head the dug-out for the Phobians in the upcoming 2016/17 season.

Loscuito, who was the former assistant coach for the Nigeria senior national team super Eagles is keen to land the hearts job after he turned down offers from other Africa countries and clubs in hope to complete his negotiation with Hearts before the G6 tourney commence.

"I will be happy to join a great club like hearts of oak, negotiation are on going with my agent and I hope the deal finalised, many clubs in Africa have contacted my agent but I want prove a point in Ghana with Hearts of oak."

The Belgian trainer, who is familiar with the Africa terrain, helped the Super Eagles of Nigeria to qualify for the 2018 World Cup group stage as an assistant,he has coached clubs like ASFA YENINGA of Burkina Faso, Togolese side Anges Fc of Notse and Rayon sport in Rwanda.
