The CAF inspection team is made up of five experts in diverse fields from an independent audit firm and the rest from the bureau of the African Football Confederation.

The crew got to business on Friday 12th January 2018 with the prime objective of evaluating the sites and facilities to host the 2019 AFCON.

The CAF delegation has been instructed to ensure that Cameroon,the host of the 2019 AFCON respects the guidelines and the standards of the African Football Confederation.

For the first mission,the ten man delegation is expected to evaluate infrastructural facilities and health units.

The team will tour the six soccer grounds shortlisted to host the 24-format of the 2019 AFCON to see if the stadia is constructed to meet CAF’s regulations.
