A 26 year- old fake prophet Michael Apah is currently in the grips of Assin Fosu police for raping a 25 year old lady (name withheld) under false prophecy and also defrauding the father of the victim (name withheld) who happens to be church founder at Assin Fosu Odumasi of an undisclosed amount of money in the name of false prophecy.

According to the Assin Fosu Divisional crime officer, DSP Daniel Darteh, the fake prophet Michael Apah went to the church founder and prophesized to him that, his church will collapse in few days times due to unfavourable circumstances he sees about the church in the spiritual realm and for that matter, should be given some amount of money to work spiritually to turn the situation of which he founder complied.

He went ahead and prophesized that, the 25 years old daughter of the founder is under the bondage of spiritual marriage and so should be given some additional money to prepare miracle water for her to bath in the backyard of their house at 4:00am that very night of which they once again complied.

In the process of the bathing, the fake prophet who was monitoring proceedings from his hide out, attacked the victim from behind and raped her.
