I have listened and read with keen interest the varying arguments that characterized the fatal accident on Friday, eventually claiming the lives of some enthusiastic funs of the fast rising northern musical icon - Fancy Gadam.

I join the many sympathizers in expressing our condolences to the bereaved family most especially to the two young men from Bimbilla who's lives got ended that very day. Abdul Hakeem, one of the victims happened to be my student at madrassatul umma - were I was an Islamic instructor.

Now to the substance of the arguments, the Mayor's strong wording on issues lacks Scientific and logical deductions. It is simply lame and unfortunate to say the least, that a leader of such remarkable pedigree could be this reactionary rather than being proactive enough to save situations from happening before we begin to apportion petty blames on others.

Let me ask some questions ; if indeed Fancy's talents is so "useless and a threat to the people of Tamale", why did he not condem him when he organized his fans to undergo a clean up exercise which was joyously attended by the Mayor? Could it be that, our mayor is suffering from Dementia?

Let us assume without admitting that, fancy is using demonic powers or using the Mayor's words " the blood of his fans for fame", is it a case that, any accident that occurs through political rallies , deaths through Chieftaincy violence and other forms of support people passionately attach emotions to, were grounded by the fact that, frontiers of such social groupings were using their support base for such Ventures? If so, I advise we disband any political party or social gathering that ends up resorting to the lost of a single life in any of their activities.

Did the management of fancy and his team, gave a prior information to TaMA about their event ? If yes, why wasn't we proactive enough to assign designated rules or guidelines to govern the operations of this guys? Did we have to wait until the unfortunate happens before we end up opening our mouths wide and high? No!

To say that, Fancy's talent is "useless" is groundless and petty . Why? This young man, in many interviews has tried placing the Northern Region to the map, he has proven beyond doubts that he was willing to change the status quo where young men cheaply used by politicians or Chieftaincy contractors to their advantage are frustrated in a way that, the average young northerner will think of making money and standing on their feet to approaching a live beyond violence, which he has preached in most of the lyrics in his songs. Let's encourage talents by shaping them in a manner that will reduce the impact of its negative tendencies since everything has its negative sides.

Are we a society that is so much engrossed with superstition and believes in satanic oppressions? If so, have we for once considered the fact that, someone else could be doing this plot against the fancy brand to frustrate his efforts? If we are making reference to the stampede in Kumasi and now this...?

To the management of Fancy, there is one thing struggling so hard to reaching the top, and there's another trying hard to maintain the challenges that comes in handy at reaching the top, take due cognizance of personal security and the security of your funs to avoid such recklessness which eventually leads to lost of lives. I appreciate the Northern descent attribute of wanting to give the best reception to your visitors - in the case Of Nigeria 's Patoranking. I will not encourage you to keep doing music until you meet your creator, but I can not equally judge you over the talent ALLAH has bestowed you with. Keep being you, the world will adjust, but be mindful of ALLAH in your affairs. I wish you the very best in this trying times.
