French Ligue 1 side FC Nantes have joined the pursuit for Ghana international Salis Abdul Samed, who is currently with RC Lens.
FC Nantes are reportedly in discussions with RC Lens to secure the 24-year-old midfielder on a season-long loan deal for the current campaign.
According to Ouest-France, Nantes' interest is part of their effort to strengthen their midfield options. However, they face competition from fellow Ligue 1 club Brest, who are also keen on acquiring Samed's services.
Samed's current contract with RC Lens runs until June 2028. Transfermarkt values him at €8 million, and any interested parties would need to meet this valuation to secure a permanent transfer.
The midfielder has made 19 appearances for the Ghana national team, the Black Stars, and is looking to revitalize his career through a move this summer.
