Asante Kotoko goalkeeper Felix Annan has been voted the goalkeeper of the year at the 2019 Ghana Football Awards.

The 24-year-old beat off competition from Enyimba FC no.1 Nana Bonsu and Black Stars goalie Richard Ofori to bag the accolade.

Annan won the best award for his position after helping his club to reach the group stages of the 2018 CAF Confederation Cup and also played an instrumental role for them to win the GFA Normalization Committee Special Competition tier-1.

Annan earned a call-up to Black Stars for the 2019 Africa Cup of Nations held in Egypt following his sterling performance.

The  2nd edition of Ghana Football Awards was held in Accra on Sunday to recognise stellar performers in their various categories.
