President Nana Akufo-Addo will later this evening, Sunday, May 28, 2023, return to the homes of Ghanaians with another broadcast to the nation.

The President’s televised addresses have earned him the tag “Fellow Ghanaians” because of his usual salutation before delving into the issues.

The Sunday evening broadcasts to the country became a constant feature during the height of the COVID-19 pandemic.

This evening’s update which is the 29th of such is expected to address Ghanaians on measures taken against the spread of coronavirus and also update the nation on the $3 billion bailout package from the International Monetary Fund (IMF).

Taking to his social media handles on Sunday morning, Akufo-Addo posted a flier announcing the address to be broadcast to the nation at 8 pm.

The last of such addresses took place more than a year ago on Sunday, March 27, 2022, when the president announced the opening of land borders.
