adidas Golden Ball and Alibaba Cloud Player of the Tournament winner: Gareth Bale (Real Madrid)

Gareth Bale kicked off his tournament in emphatic fashion by netting a hat-trick against AFC Champions League winners Kashima Antlers in the semi-finals. The Welshman was then a key figure for his side in the final as Los Blancos secured a third successive FIFA Club World Cup crown and a fourth in total. Bale follows in the footsteps of Real Madrid team-mates Sergio Ramos and Luka Modric - and former team-mate Cristiano Ronaldo - in being named the top player at the Club World Cup.

adidas Silver Ball: Caio (Al Ain)

The Brazilian was a stand-out member of the host team that raced to the final against the odds. A constant livewire on the left flank in his side's wins against Team Wellington, Esperance and River Plate, Caio opened his scoring tally in the semi-finals against River and also assisted Tsukasa Shiotani for Al Ain's only goal in the final with a delightful free-kick
