The past Executive Committee members (Exco) of the Ghana Football Association (GFA) is set to receive a ban from the world football’s governing body, FIFA.

Information gathered indicates the Exco members will be charged with a fine and also stay away from all football related activities, in a punishment which will be soon communicated to the normalization committee in the coming days.

The GFA National Executive Committee was made up of 22 duly elected members to represent the Constituent bodies, Premier and Division One and the various Regional Football Associations for four years.

The committee was dissolved by the Akufo-Addo led government after the Number12 exposé by ace undercover journo Anas Aremeyaw Anas.

Many of the Exco members were caught engaging in corrupt activities in the exposé.

FIFA after extensive investigations by the Adjudicatory Chamber of the Independent Ethics Committee into the conduct of the Exco members have decided to ban them from all related football activities for a period of time.
