Ghana maintains 76th place on the latest Coca Cola FIFA World Rankings and 14th on the continental chart.
Ghana’s senior national football team, the Black Stars have maintained the 76th place in the latest FIFA rankings as of July 10 2025, with nations like Argentina, Spain, France, England and Brazil leading the pack and occupying the first to fifth positions respectively.
The most recent games the Black Stars have featured in were the two games at the Unity Cup mini tournament which was staged in London in May 2025 where Ghana lost the first game to West African arch-rivals, Nigeria before going on to thump Caribbean nation, Trinidad and Tobago to clinch the third place spot in the friendly competition.
In reference to that, the occasional FIFA World Rankings that get released by football’s governing body occasionally had the Black Stars maintaining their 76th spot after moving a place up in the two previous rankings in December 2024.
The Black Stars also sits on 14th position on the Continental charts as countries like Morocco, Senegal, Egypt, Algeria and West African rivals Nigeria leading the African contingent from first place to fifth place respectively.
Ghana will be looking to better their position in the subsequent rankings when they are able to give a better performance in their next round of 2026 FIFA World Cup qualifying games in September when they lock horns with Chad and Mali.
