Medeama SC concluded a disappointing Ghana Premier League season with a 2-1 home loss to Berekum Chelsea at the TnA Stadium in Tarkwa.

Former Medeama striker Kofi Ansu Patrick broke home hearts by scoring the late winner five minutes from time, after Kingsley Braye had cancelled out Vincent Klu Adjei’s opener.

The loss saw Medeama finish in 8th place, while Chelsea wrapped up their campaign in 12th.

Aduana FC ended on a strong note with a 3-1 victory over newly promoted Basake Holy Stars. Richard Tetteh opened the scoring for Aduana before Francis Obeng equalized for the visitors.

However, second-half goals from Emmanuel Marfo and Alex Boakye (from the spot) sealed all three points. Despite the loss, Holy Stars celebrated survival in their maiden top-flight season.

Dreams FC signed off with a commanding 4-1 win over already-relegated Legon Cities. Jonathan Nemorden struck twice, with Joseph Esso and Suraj Seidu also getting on the scoresheet.

Albert Adomah netted the lone goal for the Royals, whose demotion had been confirmed before the final round.

At Nana Gyeabour Park, Bechem United narrowly defeated Young Apostles 1-0 courtesy of a second-half penalty converted by Baba Moro Abdulai.

Despite the defeat, the Apostles held on to their Premier League status after a solid debut campaign.
