DR Congo international Fiston Kalala Mayele has clinched the CAF Champions League Golden Boot after finishing the 2024/25 campaign as the top scorer with 9 goals, capping off a stellar season with a crucial strike in Pyramids FC's 2-1 victory over Mamelodi Sundowns in the final in Cairo.
Playing at the 30 June Stadium, Mayele opened the scoring in the 23rd minute with trademark composure and precision, setting Pyramids FC on course for their first-ever CAF Champions League title.
The Egyptian side won the final 3-2 on aggregate, with Ahmed Samy and Iqraam Rayners also on the scoresheet.
