Former Arsenal midfielder Emmanuel Frimpong has tied the knot with his longtime girl friend in a secret ceremony outside the preying eyes of the media and the world.
The 27 year old announced his retirement from football early this year despite his tender age has been battling persistent injury problems.
Frimpong who came through the Arsenal academy was not able to make the cut to the senior side making just 6 appearances and had loan spells at Wolves, Fulham,Charlton before joining championship side Barnsley in 2014 where he barely played in his two year stint there before his contract was terminated.

The Ghanaian with one cap for the Black Stars then began globe trotting with his career where went to Russia to play for Ufa.

He then featured for Arsenal Tula and subsequently that of AFC Eskilstuna of the Swedish Allsvenskan.
Frimpong's last club before his untimely retirement is Cyprus side Ermis Aradippou.
