Former Kotoko great Robert Eshun dies

Kumasi Asante Kotoko is in a state of mourning as they bid farewell to one of their former greats, Robert Eshun.
The talented and speedy winger, affectionately known as "Ebo Electric" during his illustrious playing career, has passed away prematurely at the age of 49 in London.
Tragically, reports indicate that Robert Eshun suffered a cardiac arrest while en route to work early on a Monday.
His unexpected and untimely demise has left a void in the hearts of football fans and the Asante Kotoko community.
Robert Eshun is fondly remembered for his remarkable contribution, particularly his memorable goal in the final of the 1990 FA Cup.
His career began with Asante Kotoko before he ventured to Belgium, where he plied his trade with clubs such as Turnhot, Tielen, and Lommel in the early 1990s.
The pacey winger's journey in the world of football also included stints in the Turkish Super Lig with Gaziantep, and he later went on to play for Sarawak in Malaysia.
