Former Liberty Professionals attacker Emmanuel Sarpong has opined that the Ghana Premier League is ‘harder’ in comparison to the Football Superleague of Kosovo.

The 19-year-old striker completed a move to FC Drita in the Kosovan top-tier league in September, 2017.

Speaking to Kumasi-based ASHH FM, Sarpong however posited that Kosovo’s top-flight division is better in terms of facilities, marketing and cash flow.

He urged stakeholders to invest in the local league to help improve its quality.

"Kosovo league is not that hard, in Ghana here our league is better than Kosovo. Kosovo's facilities and how they put money in their league make it different than Ghana"

"I'm pleading with Ghanaians to invest more money in our Premier League and provide more facilities"

Sarpong scored two goals and made two assists in the Ghana Premier League last season before traveling to the South-eastern European nation.
