Obuasi Ashanti gold have appointed former Premier league winner Enos Kwame Adepah as their new coach.

The normalization Cup tier two winners have been in discussions with the former Techiman City coach for a while but have now concluded negotiations with the gaffer.

He joins the miners on a two year contract after replacing Danish coach Kjetil Zachariassen whose future remains in limbo after been linked with the vacant Kumasi Asante Kotoko job.

His immediate task will be to assemble a winsome side as Ashgold will represent Ghana in the Caf confederations competition.

The former Wa All Stars head coach has a huge wealth of experience having won the Ghana Premier League title with the Wa bassed side in the 2015/2016 season against all odds.

Meanwhile key player Emannuel Djodi whose Ashgold contract expired in June is on the verge of signing for Asante Kotoko after confirming to friends that he is leaving the miners for a dream move to the porcupine warriors while Ashgold look to replace him with Elmina sharks Benjamin Tweneboah.
