Four Ghanaian coaches have travelled to Wales to take part in the prestigious UEFA B Licence Coaching Course, as the Ghana Football Association (GFA) continues efforts to raise coaching standards through international partnerships.
Godwin Attram, Winfred Dormon, Fatawu Salifu and Abdulai Gazale departed Ghana this morning to join the programme, which is being organised by the Football Association of Wales (FAW).
In a statement posted on its official Facebook page, the GFA said the course is part of an ongoing technical collaboration with the FAW, aimed at improving coach education and promoting the exchange of modern football knowledge.
The UEFA B Licence is a key qualification for coaches seeking to work at higher levels of the game, focusing on advanced tactics, player development and modern training methods. For the four coaches, the opportunity offers both personal growth and a chance to bring fresh ideas back into Ghana’s domestic game.
Officials believe the partnership will have long-term benefits for Ghanaian football, helping to develop technically sound coaches who can nurture young talent and improve overall performance at club and national team levels.
The GFA says such collaborations remain central to its strategy of building a sustainable future for the game, with investment in coach education seen as a vital step towards lasting success on the pitch.
