French-born Enoch Kwateng now ready to play for Ghana

French born Ghanaian defender Enoch Kwateng his ready and willing to play for the country of his parents Ghana.
Kwateng has already played for all the junior national teams in France but has struggled to breakthrough with the senior national team Les Blue and has therefore decided to switch allegiance to Ghana.
The 23 year old Girondins Bordeaux defender made the decision after consultations with his family.
It means he will now have to go through the FIFA nationality switch formalities before he can be available for selection by coach C.K Akunnor.
He was born in the French town of Mantes-la-Jolie to Ghanaian parents and has played for all the French Junior national teams that is U16, U17, U18, U19, and U20 levels.
Kwateng was approached by Ghanaian authorities to play for the Black Stars some years ago but was reluctant as he eyed a call up from Les Blue.
He was a youth prospect of French side Nantes and made his Ligue 1 first-team debut on in August 2015 against Angers.
