French Ligue 1 side Le Havre AC have officially confirmed the departure of Ghanaian international André Ayew, bringing an end to his impactful stint at the club.

The 35-year-old, who joined Les Ciel et Marine in November 2023, played a crucial role in helping Le Havre secure Ligue 1 survival over the past two seasons with his experience and leadership on and off the pitch.

The French Ligue 1 outfit took to the internet to announce his departure and in a heartfelt message, the club paid tribute to the former Olympique de Marseille forward:

"A warrior on the pitch, André Ayew set an example for all the Sky & Marine. He truly understood HAC, its fans, Le Havre, and its people. All the best, André."

Ayew made over 48 appearances during his time at Le Havre, contributing key goals and galvanizing a relatively young squad. He notched 10 goals and provided one assist during his time.

The Ghanaian veteran now becomes a free agent, and speculation over his next move is expected to grow in the coming weeks as clubs across Europe, Asia, and the Middle East continue to show interest in the experienced attacker.
