Bibiani GoldStars head coach Frimpong Manso expressed his joy following his team's impressive 1-0 victory against Hearts of Oak, marking their first away win of the 2024/25 Ghana Premier League season.

The match took place on Sunday at the University of Ghana Sports Stadium, where GoldStars' triumph elevated them to the top of the league standings with 18 points, continuing their unbeaten streak.

The match's lone goal came from Samuel Attah Kumi, while Hearts of Oak had an opportunity to level the score with a penalty kick.

However, GoldStars goalkeeper Emmanuel Kobi made a critical save, thwarting Hamza Issah’s attempt.

Manso, reflecting on the game, noted his satisfaction with the hard-fought win, especially after his side had drawn their previous three away matches.

“I am excited because this is our first away win," he stated post-match. "We’ve been drawing in our last three away games, and now in the fourth one, we’ve got a win, so I’m very satisfied and happy with the result,” he added, showcasing his pride in the team's performance.

Looking ahead, Bibiani GoldStars will take on struggling Dreams FC in their Matchday 9 fixture at DUN's Park.
