Award winning Journalist, Mabel Aku Banasseh, has hilariously replied the Founder of the International Central Gospel Church (ICGC) Dr. Mensah Otabil for his comments on Fufu.

Pastor Otabil, who was speaking at the maiden edition of the Springboard Road show where he spoke on the state of Africa’s development made the assertion that, the manner in which Fufu is being prepared is killing Ghanaians.

However, the Daily Graphic reporter who is one of the many Fufu lovers in Ghana isn't enthused about the recent comment by the respected Preacher took to Facebook to address the issue.

Below is what she wrote;

How? The late Asantehemaa lived for more than 100 years. Fufu was one of her favourite foods. Pastor Otabil, as for this one, I and my fufu lovers beg you. We disagree with your assertion without any hesitation.

I use little cassava and plenty plantain. The mortar and pestle are washed several times and sterilized with hot boiling water before pounding. No fufu pounder sweats while pounding my fufu.

Some fufu haters exaggerate too much. They should allow us to enjoy our delicacy. Fufu, Onaaaapo!
