Ghanaian lawyer and politician Gabby Asare Otchere-Darko has advised Ghana midfielder Thomas Partey to consider leaving Arsenal in pursuit of a more lucrative opportunity elsewhere.

With Partey's contract at the North London club set to expire at the end of this month, his future remains uncertain.

Having joined Arsenal from Atlético Madrid in 2020 on a five-year deal, Partey has been a key part of Mikel Arteta’s squad.

However, reports suggest the Gunners are in discussions with his representatives over a possible contract extension.

Despite the ongoing talks, the 32-year-old has reportedly drawn interest from clubs across Europe and in Saudi Arabia, where the financial incentives are significant.

Otchere-Darko, a known Arsenal supporter, expressed his opinion on Asaase Radio's Breakfast Show, suggesting that Partey should prioritize securing his financial future.

“I’m an Arsenal fan, but I advise Thomas Partey to move elsewhere and make some good money for his pension years,” he said.

Partey had an impressive 2024/25 season, making 52 appearances across all competitions and scoring four goals.

As speculation over his next move intensifies, the Ghana international now faces a crucial career decision that could define the latter part of his footballing journey.
