The Ghana Football Association President Kurt E.S Okraku and his Ex-Co met the leadership of Referees Association of Ghana (RAG), on how to settle referees debt owned by the erstwhile administration yesterday.

According to RAG Chairman Rtd Joe Debrah, they have received a payment plan from the Kurt-led administration to settle all the debt within 2-years as they will receive Ghc 300,000.00 before the new season begins.

"In the meeting yesterday, he has honoured his promise by drawing a payment plan together with us for the next two years.GHC300,000.00 will be paid before the commencement of the league and an additional GHC300,000.00 after the league. The remaining amount will be paid the following year.

"On the allowances for the referees in the upcoming season, it was agreed that GHC950 will be paid excluding accommodation and transportation but GHC550 will be paid if accommodation and transportation will be catered for by the GFA. The allowances will be paid on monthly bases." He told Kumasi Fm.

The 2019/20 Ghana Premier League will commence across all venues on Dec 28.
