Ashanti Gold SC Chief executive officer, Fredrick Acheampong has been voted on to the new Ghana Football Association executive council.

The young football administrator was part of the five representatives of Ghana's elite football clubs elected to serve on the country's highest football decision making body.

Medeama SC CEO, Dr. Toni Aubynn, Nana Oduru Sarfo of Berekum Chelsea, George Amoako of Kotoko and Bechem United's Kingsley Osei Bonsu are the other representatives who joins Acheampong on the Council.

Conspicuously missing out are Hearts of Oak CEO Fredrick Moore as well as Aduana Stars Chief Albert Commey who both failed to accumulate enough votes in Thursday's election to make the cut.
