Elections to elect the vice-president for the Ghana Football Association has been slatted for 7th November 2019.

Initially the elections was originally scheduled for 28th October 2019 but was moved to a later date due to numerous commitments.

Kurt Okraku was elected GFA president after three rounds of voting  fighting off the challenge of George Afriyie and three other candidates last Friday’s Elective Congress held at the College of Physicians and Surgeons in Accra.

Per the statutes of the GFA, the executive council must elect a vice President at its maiden meeting to help the president.

Messrs Randy Abbey, Dr. Toni Auybnn, Frederick Acheampong, Samuel Anim Addo,George Amoako and Mark Addo have all expressed  interest in the position.

In times past the GFA president had to choose his own vice president but that has been changed at the last delegates congress.
