Head Coach of Accra Hearts of Oak Frank Nutall says he is delighted about the victory against their biggest rivals, Asante Kotoko in the semi-finals of the ongoing G8 tournament.
The Phobians progressed to the final of the competition after defeating the Porcupine Warriors 4-2 on penalties after the match finish goalless in regulation time.
Nutall in his post match conference reflected on his team’s performance;
“Both set of players really worked hard for their clubs, but I felt that we could’ve scored in the match, we need to take our chances. At 0-0 there is always a chance any team can come back in the game. We need to work on finishing our chances”
“Over all it was a very good performance from my players, mentally they were really strong”
“It is pleasing to beat them today even on penalties”
Hearts will face the winner of the second semi-finals clash between Medeama SC and Dreams FC at the Cape Coast Stadium today.
