Ghanaian forward Mohammed Fuseini Gadafi has committed his long-term future to Belgian champions Royale Union St-Gilloise, signing a new deal that runs until 2028, with an option for a further year.

The 23-year-old joined the Brussels-based side in the summer of 2024 from Austrian outfit Sturm Graz, following a loan spell at Danish club Randers FC. In his debut season, Fuseini netted 11 goals and registered 3 assists across domestic league and Europe, playing a key role in St-Gilloise’s monumental Belgium Jupiler Pro League title triumph as he etched his name in the history of the club when they won their first ever league title after 90 years.

Currently on the verge of giving it all for RUSG, the Ghanaian international, capped twice by the Black Stars, is expected to make a glorious impact in the 2025/26 campaign, and is expected to play a pivotal role in Royal Union Saint Gilloise's first ever UEFA Champions League campaign.

A graduate of Ghana’s famed Right to Dream Academy, Fuseini began his European career in Austria with Sturm Graz, playing in the junior team for a brief period before joining the main senior team in the Austrian Bundesliga. There, Gadafi 27 appearances, scored three goals and provided one assist before making his mark in Denmark with Randers, then Belgium.

At Randers, he notched nine goals and provided one assist with 16 games under his belt. Fuseini earned his first Ghana national team call-up in May 2025 as he got called up for the Unity Cup in London, featuring in all two games for the Black Stars.

He came on as a late substitute for Al Qadsiah winger Christopher Bonsu Baah in the heated game against West African rivals, Nigeria, before earning his full debut against Caribbean side Trinidad and Tobago where he scored his debut goal in the 4-0 win.
