Ghana coach Avram Grant will give skipper Asamoah Gyan all the time needed to see if he will be fit before naming his squad that will play against Egypt next week.

Grant is facing his most difficult period as a coach since taking over the Black Stars job almost two years ago.

The former Chelsea and former Portsmouth man will have to produce something spectacular to pick all three points when he travels to Alexandria with his Black Stars team on the 13th of November.

But injuries and club politics have threatened to damage his preparations with concerns over Asamoah Gyan’s fitness an everyday issue.

West Ham United are playing hard to get with Andre Ayew likely to force his way through to honor the game which the Black Stars can not afford to lose.

But time will be afforded to skipper Asamoah Gyan to prove his fitness or otherwise before the squad is named.

Juventus midfielder Kwadwo Asamoah who has not played for the Black Stars in almost two years is also a huge doubt for this one.

In-form Rio Ave midfielder Alhassan Wakaso, Turkey based Samuel Inkoom and youngster Samuel Tetteh are all expected to make the Grant’s team that will play in the World Cup qualifiers.
