Black Stars coach Kwesi Appiah has lamented his side’s round of 16 exit by Tunisia at the 2019 Africa Cup of Nations in Egypt.

Ghana’s Ghana’s dream of ending a 37-year wait for a title was dashed after losing 5-4 on penalties to the North Africans.

The match ended 1-1 after 120 minutes at the Ismailia Stadium.

Speaking in his post-match press conference, Coach Appiah lamented his side’s profligacy in front of goal.

“In the game of football when you get chances and you don’t utilize it, these are some of the things that happens and now we already know that but this is football and it happened, and now what we need to do is to make sure we hold on to whatever we learned in this competition,” Appiah said at his presser.
